Amanita muscaria Amanita mus·car·i·a (mŭs-kâr'ē-ə)
A toxic mushroom that contains muscarine.
The name given by Letellier to the poisonous principle of amanita muscaria, and some other species of fungi.
Many spots in the copse are brilliant with large groups of the scarlet-capped Fly Agaric (amanita muscaria).
I do think I espy about twenty yards ahead the fly agaric (amanita muscaria).
