chyluria chy·lu·ri·a (kī-lur'ē-ə)
The presence of chyle in the urine.
chyluria occurs most frequently as a symptom of infection by Filaria sanguinis hominis.
Lewis also found Filari in the kidneys and supra-renal capsules of a woman who died of chyluria.
This is the common cause of chyluria in hot climates, but chyluria is occasionally seen in the United Kingdom without filaria.
