Pecquet Pec·quet (pě-kā'), Jean. 1622-1674.
French anatomist who first described (1647) the thoracic duct.
Indeed, so sick and ailing did he appear to be that Mme. pecquet suggested that his uncle should call in a doctor.
Strangely enough, the latter united with Riolan in opposing the discovery of pecquet and denying its significance.
It is to be noted that Asellius and pecquet, both of them, made their discoveries as it were by chance.
And you allow the name of a magistrate to be coupled in a police report with that of the woman pecquet?
