proteoclastic pro·te·o·clas·tic (prō'tē-ō-klās'tĭk)
adj.
Of, relating to, or causing proteolysis; proteolytic.
It is ascribed by Duchaek to a selective action on the proteoclastic enzyme, but without satisfactory evidence.
It also contains the enzymes of the juice, including the proteoclastic enzyme, and the hexosephosphatase (p. 54).
