pyloric orifice n.
The opening between the stomach and the upper part of the duodenum.
This cessation has been attributed to reopening of the pyloric orifice by sloughing of the growth.
Its usual site is upon the posterior wall of the upper curvature, near to the pyloric orifice.
The most important of these sequels is stenosis of the orifices of the stomach, particularly of the pyloric orifice.
