How to use stock ledger in a sentence
When a stockholder receives a certificate of stock it is posted to the credit side of his account in the stock ledger.
Transfers are posted to the stock register, when used, or direct to the stock ledger.
The stock ledger is supposed to show only the stock issued and the names of its holders.
