thanksgiving, referred to by Gamaliel in his speech before the council at Jerusalem (Acts 5:36). He headed an insurrection against the Roman authority. Beyond this nothing is known of him.
"theudas" the deceiver "boasted himself to be somebody," Acts v. 36.
We know of theudas and the Egyptian, and there were many others whose names have not reached us.
The name theudas was common, and so were tumults and insurrections.
