one of the two kings of Midian whom the "Lord delivered" into the hands of Gideon. He was slain afterwards with Zebah (Judg. 8:5-21). (See ZEBAH.)
Gideon arose, and killed Zebah and zalmunna, and took the crescents that were on their camels' necks.
Hence there was no alternative to war when Jabin or Zebah and zalmunna attacked the tribes.
Then Zebah and zalmunna said, "Get up yourself and fall upon us; for a man has a man's strength!"
Zebah and zalmunna were in Karkor, and their forces were with them, in all about fifteen thousand men.
So Gideon rose and killed Zebah and zalmunna, and took the crescents that were on their camels' necks.
And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that were on their camels' necks.
Zebah and zalmunna also fled; but Gideon followed and captured the two kings of Midian and threw all the horde into a panic.
If the Philistines will but come out unto us, we will make them like unto Zeba and zalmunna.
