An artery with its origin in the anterior tibial artery, with distribution to the ankle joint, and with anastomoses to the peroneal and lateral tarsal arteries; lateral anterior malleolar artery.
An artery with its origin in the anterior tibial artery, with distribution to the ankle joint and the neighboring integument, and with anastomoses to the branches of the posterior tibial artery; medial anterior artery.
