can't wait
Be very eager, anxious, or impatient, as in We can't wait for the baseball season to begin or I can't wait to see Dad—it's been a year. While the literal sense of being unable to wait (for lack of time) is much older, this figurative usage dates only from about 1930.
Example Sentences

“I can’t wait until spring, when I can wander through tall grass and feel warm sunlight on my back. I just hope I don’t die of boredom first!”
“I can’t wait for that game,” Redlew said.

“We can’t wait for it to be finished—to experience it from the inside, in our new home, and for the fans to enjoy it as well. It’s going to be something very special to play at home in such a spectacular stadium.”
