- Any of four or five small arteries given off from the splenic artery, passing to the greater curvature of the stomach, and anastomosing with other arteries in that region.
- An artery with origin in the hepatic artery, with distribution to the pyloric portion of the stomach, and with anastomoses to the left gastric artery; right gastric artery.
- An artery with origin in the celiac artery, with distribution to the stomach, the esophagus, and a portion of the left lobe of the liver, and with anastomoses to the esophageal and right gastric arteries; left gastric artery.
