If you have otherwise eradicated the virus, such as New Zealand or this region of China, vigilance will be required to prevent reintroductions by both goods and travelers.

It is a way of living, a perpetual vigilance, a habit of mind.

It’s yet another lesson in the need for continued vigilance against the coronavirus.
