What is November? November is the eleventh month of the year in the Gregorian calendar. It has 30 days and is between October and December. In the Northern Hemisphere November is a middle month of the autumn season, while in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s a middle month of the spring season. In the United States, November is a busy month. The first Tuesday after the first Monday is Election Day, when general elections are held. November 11 is Veterans Day, a national holiday that honors members of the country’s armed forces. Thanksgiving Day, a national holiday to give thanks, is on the fourth Thursday in November, followed by Native American Heritage Day, to honor Native Americans’ contribution to the country, on the fourth Friday. Example: I spend all of November preparing for the holidays and I feel like I don’t get a break until January.
