Queckenstedt-Stookey test

[ kwĕkən-stĕd′-, kvĕkən-shtĕt′- ]

n.

A test to detect the blockage of subarachnoid channels in which the jugular vein is compressed; when there is blockage of the channels, compression causes little or no increase in the pressure of the spinal fluid.
