Tb test

Cultural  

1. A test to determine if an individual has been infected (see infection) with the bacteria that cause tuberculosis. Although the Tb test does not show whether the infection is active or inactive, it is very useful in screening people who may have been exposed to the disease and in locating people who already have the disease.
