Any of various whales of the suborder Odontoceti, having an asymmetrical skull with one blowhole and numerous cone-shaped teeth. Toothed whales include the sperm, beluga, pilot, and beaked whales, and the narwhal, orca (killer whale), dolphins, and porpoises.
