You can think of a website as a book and a web page as a single page of it. For example, the web page you’re looking at right now is just one of many web pages on the website Dictionary.com. Web page may have once been used to refer to a website, but this is not common usage anymore. There are some websites that consist of only a single web page, but most websites have multiple web pages, often hundreds or thousands or even millions.
