What does Domer mean?
Domer is a meme that gained popularity in 2025, based on an audio clip of baby Bart from an episode of The Simpsons.
Popular on TikTok, the Domer meme features four different-colored baby Bart Simpsons flashing across the screen from left to right, each paired with The Simpsons sound bite of Bart saying “Domer.” The first three Barts are followed by check marks and a “ding” sound, while the fourth and final Bart is red and says “Domer” in a deeper, warped voice, paired with a warning symbol and siren sound bite.
As for the meaning behind it, some memes have a logical explanation, while others seem to exist for the sake of absurdity. The Domer meme falls into the latter category.
Where does Domer come from?
The Domer audio comes from season 4, episode 10 of The Simpsons, “Lisa’s First Word,” which aired on Fox in 1992. In the episode, a diapered Bart Simpson welcomes his dad home, calling him “Homer” instead of “Daddy.” When Homer asks that he call him “Daddy” instead, Bart struggles, continually saying “Homer” until he finally lands on “Domer” (a blend of “Homer” and “Daddy”).
The Domer meme is thought to have originated from a viral TikTok by @sammythemayor, posted on November 7, 2025. It appears to use a similar format as a 2024 meme that uses a color-coded set of four Homer images with large foreheads.

Who uses Domer?
After @sammythemayor helped popularize the Domer meme on TikTok, it spurred copycat versions, which mostly followed the original format. Eventually, altered versions cropped up on TikTok, maintaining the sound bites but sometimes changing the images. Offline, Generation Alpha kids also say Domer to each other in conversation.
