huzz

[ huhz ]

What does huzz mean?

Huzz, or the huzz, is a slang term for a group of girls or women, used as an altered form of “hoes.” The word follows the same pattern as other “-uzz” slang, like bruzz, aka “bros,” and gruzz, for grandparents or elderly people. Huzz can also refer to romantic partners, similar to “boo.”

Although huzz can be used as a humorous or endearing term among friends, some also consider it derogatory toward women.

Where does huzz come from?

Twitch streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat is often credited with introducing huzz to the masses. In February 2023, Cenat livestreamed himself teaching an older man to dance, explaining that it was “for the huzz.” The term then began trending on TikTok and other platforms.
