The face with tongue emoji was approved as part of Unicode 6.1 in 2012 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015. Its original name was Face with Stuck-Out Tongue. The emoji is pretty goofy on all platforms, but we note that Microsoft and Google’s versions, seen here in a chart from Emojipedia, has a bit of a medical feel to it. “Say, AHHHH!”

Who uses 😛 Face with Tongue emoji?
