Origin of ejaculate
First recorded in 1570–80; from Latin ējaculātus “thrown out,” past participle of ējaculārī “to shoot out, throw out,” from ē- e- 1 + jacul(um) “javelin” (from jac(ere) “to throw” + -ulum -ule ) + -ārī, infinitive suffix
