Jogging is an activity that involves running at a steady, easy pace. Looking for an exercise you can do without leaving your neighborhood? Try jogging! Before it meant "running gently," jogging was defined as "shaking up and down." Since the late 1940s, people have used this word to describe an exercise routine that requires nothing more than a good pair of athletic shoes.
