- Also called weighted grade point. a numerical equivalent to a letter grade, usually 0 for F, 1 for D, 2 for C, 3 for B, and 4 for A, that is multiplied by the number of credits for the course and then further multiplied by a weighted value assigned to more difficult courses, as honors level courses where a grade of A may be worth 4.5 or 5 quality points: used to compute a quality point average.
