What does microshifting mean?
Microshifting refers to a change in how corporate employees are structuring their work hours, whether in the office, remote, or hybrid. Instead of clocking the traditional 9-to-5 schedule, they might log on earlier or return later in the evening, carving out longer midday breaks for errands, workouts, or quick naps. They’re not working fewer hours; they’re simply spreading those hours across the day differently, sometimes in smaller increments.
