In botany, a genus of magnificent arborescent grasses, of the nat.

The Palm-tree is, in Egypt, as in all the oases, the principal element of the arborescent vegetation.

Arborescent: Branched or tree-like, beset with branched hair-like extensions (Fig. 150, e).

Arborescent; corallites arranged somewhat spirally on branches and widely separated; branches compact between corallites.

These start branches, and so the process goes on, and in time the colony becomes much branched and arborescent in form.
