Perón, Eva
An Argentine political figure of the twentieth century; the wife of President Juan Perón of Argentina. Crafty and ambitious, she had great influence on her husband and achieved immense popularity among the Argentinean masses through her charitable activities. She died of cancer in the 1950s.
