1. to earnestly explain something from the queer perspective or describe the queer experience and how it differs from the presumably universal experience of cisgender and heterosexual people:

   Will someone please queersplain to Hollywood that there are plenty of jobs for cisgender and straight actors without casting them in trans and gay roles.

2. to comment on or explain queerness to an LGBTQ person, especially in an inaccurate, uninformed, or condescending manner:

   My grandma tried to queersplain my nonbinary identity by claiming it was “just a phase.”
