astronomy vs. astrology
astronomy vs. astrology: What’s the difference?
Astronomy is the scientific study of the universe or space (everything beyond Earth’s atmosphere), including things like stars and other planets. Astrology is a nonscientific practice in which the positions of celestial bodies (like stars and planets) at certain times are thought to influence or be correlated with human behavior and events. Astro- means “pertaining to stars or celestial bodies.”
