A subsidiary of the California-based Ross Dress for Less, dd’s Discounts (styled dd’s DISCOUNTS) opened its first store in 2004. By 2017, it had over 200 stores in over 15 states, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the East Coast.

dd’s Discounts sells brand-name clothing, footwear, accessories, everyday electronics, and miscellaneous home goods below the normal retail prices—hence the name. It advertises special promotions as dd’s dealz and #dddealz.

The company partners with the educational charity First Book and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
