How to use myxoedema in a sentence
A firm enlargement of the surface of the face and upper part of the body occurs in myxoedema.
In myxoedema there is a swelling or general enlargement, especially of the upper portions of the trunk.
The same may be said also of the different forms of cerebral and spinal sclerosis, of pernicious anmia, and of myxoedema.
It is found, however, that its removal entails myxoedema, a condition closely allied to cretinism.
